Ben and Brittany celebrated their marriage on March 30, 2024, amidst a Viking-themed wedding on a cloudy day in central Texas. The mild spring weather provided the perfect backdrop for their unique and memorable ceremony at Elm Creek Ranch Texas in Bertram, Texas. Dressed in traditional Viking attire, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones, creating a magical atmosphere that will be cherished for years to come. How it began…
Brittany and Ben first connected on a dating app several years ago but lost touch shortly after their initial interactions. Years later they were pleasantly surprised to come across each other's profiles on a different dating app. Fate seemed to have brought them back together, giving them a second chance to rekindle the connection they once had. With a renewed sense of hope, Brittany and Ben were eager to see where the unexpected reunion would take them.
Brittany and Ben finally met in person during the COVID pandemic when her son, Colt, was quarantined due to a classmate testing positive. Brittany spent her time constructing a fire pit in her backyard, and once completed, she decided to invite Ben over for a cozy evening by the fire. The crackling flames and warmth of the fire created the perfect ambiance for them to connect and enjoy each other's company in a safe outdoor setting. It was a memorable evening that marked the beginning of a beautiful relationship between Brittany and Ben. To this day, Ben claims that Brittany built that fire pit for him.
Brittany and Ben made their relationship official on December 1, 2020. In February of 2021, Brittany underwent bilateral carpal tunnel surgery, leaving her unable to use her hands. During the severe Texas snowstorm, they lost power for three days. Ben went to great lengths to care for Brittany and ensure their safety, as well as that of their animals. Witnessing Ben's unwavering support and dedication, Brittany realized she had found a truly special partner in him. It was then that Brittany took the next step and invited Ben to move in with her.
The proposal…
In 2023, the family embarked on a memorable Florida vacation, experiencing the wonders of Disney and Universal. On February 27th of that year, Ben chose the enchanting setting of Harry Potter World to ask Brittany to marry him, a moment brimming with magic and love. Overwhelmed with emotion, Brittany joyfully accepted his proposal, as Colt, exuberant with happiness, expressed his heartfelt welcome to Ben into the family. This poignant moment strengthened the family bond, igniting a shared hope for countless cherished memories to come.
The Couple…
Brittany and Ben's relationship is a unique blend of fun, relaxing, and safe while also sprinkled with goofy moments. They are true opposites who complement each other perfectly. Ben appreciates Brittany's sweet, loving, and caring nature, finding solace in her nurturing presence. Meanwhile, Brittany is drawn to Ben's humorous charm, caring demeanor, and assertive confidence. Together, they create a harmonious balance, embracing their differences and enjoying a joyful connection filled with laughter and affection.
